Memory of Debbie Davidson I gathered
the November month
of Fall the cars
routinely followed each other back and forth narrow town's
spirit wrapped the shadows of people's quick steps touched the
yellow leaves followed by old crinkling love I gathered the
November month just left happiness was
filled with pieces of the receiving river zigzagging,
though still could not calm the ocean yet chasing each other, with one seeking and
one hiding. I gathered the
November month
why did you choose your own long trip far away? with the secluded
cemetery sky and the cold wind drifts overflowing
tear-drops turned the parting moment upside down I gathered the
November month a season of
sparse leaves where you lay
down was too far for visiting life is up and
down this year, like a shrinking tire waiting for the
afternoon sunshine, hoping to grab the evening twilight I gathered the
November month cold autumn wind
grabbing falling leaves
all over, tiring steps go faster coming back to
the city, feeling like I was in two places so the forgiving
freeway gets more excited I gathered the
November month although my heart
was exhausted still planting
more trees with a hoping soul the lost place
already had some sweet green buds all these steps left another step to go. Translate
