NGUYEN DANG THUONG ___________________________________________ poems by NGUYEN DANG THUONG translated by Do Vinh CORPSE i don't write poetry
because i am sad: i am
sad because i write poetry -
with me, once a poem has been written it is a corpse and to publish it is to mummify - the poet - but i am a murderer of words a
mass murderer of verses - the poet has left his ivory tower and entered the desert - there is no corner left anymore for the poet to come and go - so why do i still write poetry? - am i like sisyphus
rolling the stone? - name: not yet - date and place of birth: anytime and anywhere.
JUST
CHATTING if i had to choose
between man and god i would choose satan if i had to choose between a
boat without a port and a drunken boat i would
choose a paper sail if you must choose between wolves and dogs please choose roast pig TRANSLATED BY DO VINH The Writers Post &
