THI THANH BINH _______________________________ GOING
AND COMING Translated by Do Vinh Early
morning I open my eyes why do I must keep
looking around for a place to go to or
to go to a place only to return to
go to go to come to come to go to return to
do what that every minute every second
of everyday that I am living is
meaningless like the road of yesterday and
the day before and the day before that that I had gone by.
I had gone and also return on
the empty roads without travelers not
a single person not a single person not
a single voice answering: no no to
everything that is a great big zero like
the round of lips of Adam like
the road of hearts without lovers
without wind and storm without clouds and
rain wet like the women that had reached
menopausal but still a
million million lifetimes to get excited with viagra-pink for the broad Eva thirsting for love
or in excess of love with the embraces of
horny men partially impotent oh
viagra-blue for the winds to rise by the skies
for the depths of the winds to become full
and to fade for you and I and then nothing remains? A
time to meet is a time to end.
But certainly there are no
endings that are alike and all of us
will have to go to go to
come to come to go to return to an ending. Of all the games... TRANSLATED BY DO VINH The Writers Post &
