Le Nguyen, pseudonym of
Nguyen Thao, born in 1942 in Vy Da-Hue (Central of Vietnam), former Officer
of the RVN-Armed Forces who had three Wounded Medals of Military Duty in Action
on battlefield. After the collapse of South Vietnam in 1975, Le Nguyen was
kept in the Communist re-education concentration camps for 13 years. He came
to the US in 1994, settled in Tampa, Florida. Before 1975, Le Nguyen’s poems
appeared in some magazines in Vietnam. In the US, he is contributing writer
to the magazines: Van, Van Hoc, Lang Van, The Ky 21, Khoi Hanh, Cao Thom, Ly
Tuong, Van Tuyen, and is taking part in Cum Hoa Tinh Yeu (Flower and Love),
Coi Nguon, Huong Viet, VAALA Florida.
