NGO DUC DIEM ___________________________ GROUND ZERO
In commemoration of the 9/11 victims Ground Zero, ashes piling up so high Blood of rancor boiling clouds in the sky No heart, no love and no justice Human bodies toasted into flame of hate Ground Zero, dust of life spreads all
around With sufferings human fate ironically
crowned No smile, no kiss leaving lips in
emptiness Wedding gowns and beds mourning
speechless Ground Zero, rain falling down in drops Dreams and wishes vapor in vanishing
smokes No rendez-vous, no words and no prayers Along the sidewalk human love fading
away Ground Zero, life exhausted piece by
piece Souls of beloved ones quietly vanished Without a last word they suddenly
disappear Goddess of Liberty lowers her torch in
tears Ground Zero, a morass full of repentance Time wasting for shame and indifference No love, red lips gradually fading down Next life, its not too late anyhow Ground Zero, land of ephemeral
Ups and downs, its the truth of life
eternal Not to be ignorant nor fondly attached Poems forever poured abundantly over the
grass Ngo Duc Diem
